I went to see the movie “I CAN ONLY IMAGINE”. It touched me a great deal as I didn’t always have a great relationship with my father either. My dad and I had several fist fights when I was growing up. However, I’m thrilled to report the Lord turned that all around and I had ten good years with my dad before he passed away in March of 2010. There were a lot of similarities between Bart Millard’s and my upbringing. Watching the movie brought tears to my eyes. It was very touching!! The first time I heard of the band Mercy Me was back in 1999. I was visiting my cousin and her family in Toronto, Ontario. When I was leaving to head home she gave me their album. Looking back the funny thing was she said “when I heard this guy sing … I thought of you.”
